ÉVIAN RESORT

In the heart of the Alps, overlooking Lake Geneva, the Evian Resort is an exceptional holiday destination. It encompasses a legendary golf course, the Thermal Spa which made the town famous, a Casino with its Italian-style theatre and two luxury hotels in 47-acre grounds - the 5-star Royal, a legendary Palace hotel with stylish décor and French-style elegance that make it a universal symbol of understated luxury and the 4-star Ermitage, a true family home that provides a welcoming stylish atmosphere, a haven of peace nestling in an unspoilt natural setting.

THE HÔTEL ROYAL

This is a legendary palace hotel, built for King Edward VII, where guests have stayed for over a century. Overlooking Lake Geneva, the Hôtel Royal came into being in 1909, designed by the architect Jean-Albert Hébrard. Right from the start, this hotel was designed and intended to be an exceptional place. The Royal bears its name in honour of King Edward VII, and while he was not able to stay here since he died in 1910, its noble guests from past and present are what makes it famous and a place of historical importance.

Following an existence of over a century, it was time to bring the place in line with modern-day expectations whilst preserving its unique soul and Belle Epoque identity. The Royal re-opened in July 2015 following large-scale refurbishment. By combining historic heritage with the latest creations in contemporary design, this centennial building has been restored to all of its radiant splendour.

Its stylish décor and French-style elegance make it a universal symbol of discreet luxury.

THE HÔTEL ERMITAGE

Built in 1908 by the architect Martinet, at the upper station of the funicular railway, the Hôtel Ermitage looks down over the Hôtel Royal. A huge Anglo-Normand-Savoyard style chalet built on three floors with galleries overlooking the lake and topped with a Savoyard roof. The Hôtel Ermitage has become a genuine family home nestling in the heart of unspoilt nature, with a warm, stylish atmosphere, and has not lost any of its charm since its latest refurbishment in 2010 and offers a harmonious blend of elegance and authenticity, a haven of peace set in unspoilt nature.
