One concert, two concertos and two rising stars on the international scene who are greatly admired by the Modigliani Quartet. They met Ray Chen in Seoul where he was playing a concerto the same evening as their concert in the chamber music hall. It was an electric and fascinating encounter with a violinist, insufficiently known at the time in France. Seong-Jin Cho, the recent winner of the Chopin piano competition, comes to Evian to play a concerto he has already performed at leading venues.
